Effective August 1, 2026

These Critique Terms supplement the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice. By requesting the free series or submitting work through the paid-student process, you agree to the portion that applies to that service.

The free series is not a personal critique

The free signup provides a five-part prerecorded educational critique series featuring previously selected student work. Registration does not submit your work for review and does not guarantee that Gian or Neo-Traditional Masterclass ("NTM") will review, answer, film, or publish anything about your work.

Who may submit work

Personal critique submissions are available only to active paying customers through the separate Kajabi community submission process. Submitters must be adults where they live or participate with verified parent or guardian authorization. Course purchase provides eligibility to submit; it does not purchase or guarantee an individual critique.

No selection or publication guarantee

Selection may depend on teaching value, image quality, available time, permissions, fit with the course, or other editorial considerations. NTM is not required to explain a selection decision.

Your rights and required permissions

You retain ownership of original material you own. By submitting, you confirm that:

  • You created the submitted artwork or have authority from its owner to submit it.
  • You own the submitted photograph or video or have permission from the photographer or rights holder.
  • You have the tattoo client's or any identifiable person's permission for the critique and for the publication choice you make.
  • The material does not violate another person's copyright, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or contractual rights.
  • You will not submit sensitive medical information or other information that is unnecessary for an artistic critique.

NTM may ask for evidence of permission and may reject or remove material when permission is unclear.

Permission to evaluate and produce a critique

For every submission, you grant NTM a nonexclusive, royalty-free permission to store, copy, resize, crop, annotate, and otherwise process the submitted material only as reasonably needed to evaluate it, communicate with you, produce and privately deliver a critique, maintain records of your choices, and protect the service. This processing permission applies whether or not the submission is selected for public use.

Public and social use: default and opt-out

The separate form must require you to acknowledge this public-use default and must present the "Keep this critique private" opt-out before the submission is completed. Do not submit critique material through a process that does not show both the acknowledgment and that choice.

If you do not select "Keep this critique private," you grant NTM a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to record the critique and to reproduce, edit, caption, excerpt, display, publish, and distribute the submitted media, resulting critique, and the name or social handle you provide for those permitted website, email, course, community, and organic-social purposes. NTM may use service providers to host, edit, or distribute the material. Editing may not deliberately misrepresent your work or statements.

Permitted public material may remain available unless NTM removes it or removal is required by law. You may contact us about future use, but copies already shared, cached, downloaded, or reposted by third parties may be outside NTM's control. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, no fee, royalty, or other compensation is owed for use permitted by these terms.

What "Keep this critique private" means

If you select "Keep this critique private," NTM will not post the submitted media or resulting critique on a public website, in public-facing email, or on social media. Authorized NTM personnel and service providers may still access it only as reasonably needed to evaluate, produce, privately deliver, secure, and document the critique. Selecting the privacy option does not reduce your eligibility for selection.

Paid advertising requires separate permission

The public/social permission above does not authorize use in paid advertisements, boosted posts, sponsored placements, or other media for which NTM pays for distribution. Any paid-advertising use requires a separate affirmative opt-in that specifically identifies paid advertising. Declining paid-ad permission does not affect course access or critique eligibility.

Educational limits and professional responsibility

Every critique is an artistic and educational opinion, not medical, legal, licensing, sanitation, or client-safety advice. A critique does not guarantee improvement, healed results, client satisfaction, income, certification, or professional advancement. You remain responsible for professional judgment, supervised training, client consent, safe procedures, and compliance with applicable law.

Questions, removal requests, and changes

Questions about these terms, publication preferences, or removal requests may be sent to onlinetattooedu@gmail.com. We may update these terms prospectively. The version presented with the Kajabi submission acknowledgment should be retained with the student's recorded choice.
